Post any camping related questions or comments here. At this time all sites in the Jetty  are booked. There are still spots in other sections of the campground.

Please remember that this event is on a Sunday. Please book Sunday night to ensure that you do not have to move from your camping spot during the event.

***I talked with the Sonoma County Parks today and they gave me a list of rules that need to be enforced. I do not want to walk around and police everyone, so I ask that you take a look at the rules and follow them. I have been told that next years permit will be based on how we adhere to the rules. If you have any questions, please feel free to PM me.

I've tried to snag a FCFS sites there probably five or six times, most of the time arriving there by noon on a Friday intending to stay through Sunday. Needless to say, I've ended up at Bodega Dunes up the coast all but one time because the sites at Doran were already full.  :smt012

The event is on 01/25/15, most people come in on Saturday and stay until Monday. If you are camping it is best to book Sunday night so that you do not have to pack up durring the event. The park enforces the check out time.

I am hoping someone with a trailer can chime in here with an answer. I know there are plenty of trailers and RV's that will be there.

Can you be more specific? is it an Motorhome or an Trailer?

The majority of the site have an asphalt surface to accommodate most vehicles wheel base; which means your may need to back your rig into the site until the tires meet the tire blocks and let the rear of the rig hang over into the campsite. HOWEVER, this may not be possible if the majority of your "campsite" is to the sides of your rig, not the rear; then your screwed.

Also, if you do have a trailer or 5th-wheel, you may need to disconnect your tow vehicle and park it along side your rig; usually for site with short/dbl-wide parking space.
