I'm going down to SD for thanksgiving, and got the go-ahead to fish 3/4 day.  I'm not bringing the yak, but will be bringing some rods. I'm actually thinking of doing a party boat trip instead of a yakking trip.

Anyone know of a good boat down there that does the 3/4 days trips?  or other suggestions?

A few years ago, I went out of Dana Point on Rock N Roll Sport Fishing, it is a six-pack, and that guy put me on fish, all day long. In keeping with the name, classic rock was cranked all day long! It was a great trip, good time. I turned around and booked him to take me and the GF with her fam out a few nights later to hoop for lobsters too.
Live your life, the way you want to be remembered. Don't have any regrets, we only get this one dance to make it count. Start at your eulogy, and work backwards.

Check out the fish counts at h and M landing, and point Loma sport fishing. Pretty much all the boats are good. 3/4 for thanksgiving this year should put you on some yellowtail still. Their is boats running evening lobster trips too. If you want to try a yak down there look at Fastlane sailing center in mission bay for hobies or OEX for anything else. Both are on the water and the spotted bay bass action is amazingly fun. Bring a light spinning rod and some gulp camo sand worms and hit the surf for all kinds of good stuff, perch, halibut, cor vina, sharks ect. If you want some shore or beach spots pm me.

3/4 out to the islands on the 22nd would be killer. Looks like tuna are still in 3/4 day range for now. Won't be by Christmas when I'm going.

Thanks guys, I've done the bay bass thing a lot, so this trip is hopefully a meat trip!
