Had an unexpected extra hour yesterday between work and cooking dinner so made a little video compilation of some of the Lings I have harvested in the past twelve months.

What an awesome fish...nothing but love for those toothy beasts!!!  :smt007

The Lings were taken between Monterey and Humboldt counties, in water as shallow as ten feet and as deep as 55 feet.

Sincerely,

Jim

I want to go spearfishing more and more. Honestly, I love just watching the environments in your video as much as the catches. It's pretty awesome.

I am still down for it, just finances are thin as is. And I was thinking I'd take a dive class first to figure out how to do it properly. Heard there's some good classes down in Monterey! I'm gonna try it out in spring.

My favorite of all your videos so far (except for the one that shows my PB Ling) 😄!

LOL! Thanks dude.

Your Ling almost made the cut, but decided to stick with just ones I had shot in the past 12 months. Had quite a few cool clips of Lings I didn't shoot chilling or swimming that I cut out for the same reason.

Maybe for the sequel.

I like all the videos but I really like this one. I am really new to the sport. Went ab diving 2x now and didn't bring the speargun because I thought it would be a hassle with the ab float but on my 2nd trip lSt Saturday I saw a big ling and was kicking myself for not taking the gun with me. I also plan on taking a free dive class to improve depth and down time. Your videos are an inspiration!
