-  Boil some spaghetti or angel hair pasta.  And while boiling.....

-  Sautee some chopped garlic in a couple tablespoons of butter.
-  Add the crab butter and broth from the inside of two big steamed or boiled Dungeness crabs
-  Add a dash of cognac or port
-  Add some herbs (I used some dried basil an oregano)
-  Add some chopped mushrooms (I used wild chanterelles)
-  Stir in some heavy cream and simmer to reduce and thicken
-  Toss in some crab meat

Combine the drained noodles and sauce.... and ENJOY!!!!

Yup... and I dehydrated some too which is what I used this time.  Fresh shrooms would have been better.  But with these recent rains it won't be long before fresh chanterelles start popping up soon.

since one of my daughters doesnt eat red meat, I did the same, but with a red sauce... was alright, but think it would have been better if I only used meat from the legs of the crag; the body meat broke up  too much and could really enjoy the "crab" part of the sauce....

maybe next time I'll also try it with a white sauce....
