Since this is gonna be stripers and salmon, how about someone posting up some How-To tips.  I sure could use some.  Seems I'm always throwing the wrong things or presenting them wrong, or just doing something wrong!!  HELP!! 

I really want to make this but wife is out of town for work and I'm home with the kids. If I can find a sitter I'm there, love me some port fishing. I just finished pouring and photographing some 8" striper candy swim baits for my web site. I love this color for striper fishing and I really hope I get to use em.

So, 8" swim baits, what sized jig head; weight/hook?  And just jig while sitting there, or trolled?

Yes. 

Last time I fished there  I used my ocean set up. 4 oz 6.5" BH. I kept it at the exact depth below me it needed to be. The other rod I trolled a Rattle Trap. Whiite with red head.  I got laughed at for the heavy rig till I was catching fish left and right on it.

Well it looks like I will make this one. It's gonna be a double header weekend. I'll bring a Porta-Potty too. I know the ladies prefer them to using the bushes.
