Congrats to winner!  Thanks to all that organized F n C.  A special thanks to Ken for providing the nice portable toilet; it was great, sink with soap, and even seat covers.  This is a great place; plenty of parking, good launch with easy access and only 1 hr 30 mins from Livermore, less time if you're not towing trailer.  The only bad part is there isn't a toilet there.

After the last sprinkle of much needed rain in early morning, the day was perfect; not too cool or hot.

The water was flat for the most part, power boat caused little waves and there weren't any crazy power boaters.

Wouldn't mind going there again!  Good jobs guys.

Thanks to Christina & Ricci for letting me get my baby fix of playing with  Santino at Round Table; he is so precious.

It was great seeing everyone.

What a Beautiful day otw with my fellow kayak buddies. The morning started with misty foggy wx to overcast and cloudy to cloudy and sunny.  Wind was hardly existent then about 930 it went flat. After checking in most with the mbf, I didn't get otw until about 705. Tried to catch up with Tommy and my couzin Joe but then headed back to the launch for a few more checkins. My lines wrent wet until I got past the bridge and once pass it, the bites began. I stuck to my game plan of top lining plugs along the south bank. Did this for 2 hours and caught 5 from 12-27ins. Then headed over the cement dock with Tony Novofish. I managed to find and get back my A-Rig that I lost the weekend before too. :smt003
started to head out from that area and decided to drop a mudsucker for a change and instantly got slammed hard . This ended being  another 27in. Fish. It was around 930 and I was done. Limited out. Shortly after that,  the bite seemed to just shut off.
Impressive was seeing ScottV land 4 fish in a row. Turns out he ended up catching the biggest and the most stripers of the day. Good enough for 2nd place. Other highlights of the day were seeing Abdivers son Hayden catch and release a nice Lil spunky striper rite in front of me, and seeing bunny and frank come all the way from Livermore to spend the day with us. What a great day otw with friends. I want to thank everyone who came and participated in the 2nd KOP and MBF. As it shows,  we can make day events like this a huge success. No sponsors , no charities can =Success. The end of the day chill at Round Table was awesome and a pleasant end to a great day. I think I'll have to do KOP3.1 this coming spring! :smt002 Just too Fun

MBF RESULTS
1st Fishworks- 2stripers=54.75"
2nd ScottV- 2stripers=49"
3rd Rancid Rob- 2 stripers=44"

Awesome event!!  You never know what's gonna happen. Last year I didn't even get a bite, this time I get 2nd. Even if I didn't catch a fish the day was killer with great weather. Good times, good fishing, good pizza, great friends!

Congrats to the winners. I saw some nice fish caught. I'll be there for the next one. For some reason my minnows weren't working and I didn't even get a bite. I had fun anyway. I wish I could have made it to the chill afterwards. I broke the battery wire for my fish finder and I needed to fix it for Sunday.
