We are what we pretend to be, so we must be careful about what we pretend to be.

I want to stay as close to the edge as I can without going over. Out on the edge you see all kinds of things you can't see from the center.

People aren’t supposed to look back. I’m certainly not going to do it anymore.”

I was there last night.

HATE shopping!

Especially with a list from my wife...I never know if I'm getting the right frikkin thing??!!??

Spent $450+ on who knows what?!?  :smt010

I did pick up a nice bottle of Glenlivet 12 though for myself...and some batteries for my dive light.

I only like Costco when they have free samples .... and the $1.50 Polish Dog/Soda combo.   :smt002

Costco tri tips are surprisingly good, too.

We've found the roasts to good, tri-tips, ground beef ... can't beat the $5 roasted chickens for a quick dinner!  They have their meat selection fairly well dialed in.

Thanks for the tip!

I checked with the Santa Rosa Costco and they said only 8 packages were left in inventory.  They will be getting in more, so suggested I call back later to check for what's available.

I'm ready for the shrooms to start coming up!

we got some steaks there last month, one of those simple 35$ four packs-best steaks I had in years
super surprised me, like the steaks you could get 20-30 years ago
we are going to try another 4 pack tonight
see if they are as good..usually knob hill in salinas has the best tasting steaks we can find
this last pack from Costco was really a big step up from any we have bought in a long time from them or anyone

11 a pound for chantrelles is a lot if your used to picking a 5 gallon pail your self ..but I have not went in a few years /or seen them on drives...no rain... and to see them in stores at all is really something...22 bucks is plenty for two people...they cook down so small...you can find them sold on C-list too when the rains come, folks sell super nice buttons and caps

Did they have the bottle of Kirkland 40 year on display?  They had one at my Costco the other day.  $600+?  Geez.
