Sad Day for Law and Fire

Heavy Heart and Sadness to hear about Officer shot. Ran many an interesting call with  PCSO Officer  Jeff Davis when he worked North Tahoe, glad to hear he will survive.  But Grief came to us at North Tahoe Fire when we heard Officer Mike Davis was shot and killed. Mike was a Great Guy and Fireman with us in the early nineties, but his passion and drive was to be a Cop.  He left Kings Beach Fire (as we were known then) to become an Officer with Auburn PD.  .  Here is pic from the Cottonwood Fire Aug 1994 right before he left to become a Cop.  From left to right, Lt. Dillon, Steve Atkins, Myself (Russ) and a young Mike Davis far right    We Salute You Mike Davis,  Rest In Peace Brother. 

I will pray for their families.  It just makes me sick to think of how easy someone can take another life for no reason.

  Really, just no words…  Damn...

Makes me so upset, and angry that people out there do these kinds of things. Senseless.
