Need some help fellow NCKA'ers. Out here in Arizona and loosing my mind. Can anyone help me out on a counter offer?? I have no experience with the Hobie Mirage drive and need some help. I would love to pick up a better kayak for my trips back to Cali, but just don't know what these are worth. Now that I am living in the desert I expect there is less of a kayak following out here. My wife would be stoked to have a kayak she doesn't need to paddle all of the time. Any help is appreciated.

 KAYAK - $1500 (Fountain Hills)

Hobie Mirage Sport sit-on kayak. Fabulous kayak. Mirage drive: propel effortlessly with foot pedals or use paddles. Purchased new in September for $1900. Used only twice. Great cargo space but my kayaking dog needs more room! Sacrifice for $1500 includes paddles. 480-two99-six 8 nine 0

Anyone who is asking $1500 will probably take $1300.  Show up with cash, lowball at $1100 and start walking at $1300 is my advice.  I'd only be willing to go to $1300 since it is new, 2 trips, and a color I like.  Otherwise $1200.

$1500 is a fair price, but Jerry has the right idea.  Bring cash, start low and see where things go.
