Matt

I can do it for no cost. If you can buy the guides you want I will install them. It's easier to match guide size and style in person than online. If you can't buy the guides from a store I can order them online but it will be more expensive. I will probably hookup with you and Sean for some crabbing and you can give me the rod and guides then.

That would be great Scott thank you. Goz is looking into acquiring the correct guide directly from Lamiglass. He might actually do the repair as well. I will keep you posted on the progress. Thank you for response. I look forward to crabbing with you regardless.

Thanks for the props  :smt002, and glad you like the rod. I like it so much, I'm thinking of wrapping one for myself. The rasta wrap was a bit tricky, I tried a bunch of different designs, and the subdued look won out over the the other bright cartoonish wraps.
And thanks again for the awesome beer selection Matt, that's was Goooood…... :beer1

Let's go fishin', and don't look back, cuz you'll never see a hearse with a kayak rack!

Rasta or Mexican Flag? Yes nice work. Where did you get the guides from?

Goz did it all. He got them online but I'm not sure where.

Thanks, Matt asked for a Rasta wrap, but the Mexican flag zukers are the same colors.
Got the guides, etc. at Mudhole this time. I shop around (Acid/Anglers Workshop/Cabelas/etc.) for the best prices, but I like the better Fuji's and the prices are usually about the same at all the retailers. Sometimes I find deals on Ebay though. Do you know of any discounters?
Original guide spec. inquiries to Lamigass went unanswered, so I just sized them up.

No component discounters except when Mudhole has a sale. Their shipping for blanks has gotten expensive so I switched to California Tackle House in San Jose to buy rod building components. You pay sales tax but you can pick up so no shipping. Supports our local folks.
