Hey all. I'm Andrew and live in Sacramento a few blocks from the Sac River. As an avid angler I kayaked and canoed a lot in the past but never owned a vessel. Back in late spring I came across a deal that I couldn't pass up and purchased my first kayak. I now own 2 open cockpit higher end inflatables and am hoping to get a hardbody yak sometime this winter. I look forward to being a part of this exciting group.

Welcome ! Glad to have you on board.

I started out with a nice inflatable as well. It all went great until an ill-fated trip back from Goat Island on Lake Berryessa where we sprang a leak about half way back to the parking lot. After hopping from rock island to rock island(to stop and reinflate) and a water-logged cellphone, I decided hard boats were in the future.
