We went Friday to avoid the small craft advisory weather for this weekend.  Usually Russian Gulch is somewhat protected, but it just proves you can get in trouble anywhere.  I pray for the family during this tragedy.

That sucks! I didn't go out Thursday due to a bad weather....i wish people didnt feel like they have to get there abs or fish just because they drove a few hours to get there...so not worth it.

Yeah, I dove on Friday too, to avoid the swell.  I feel for the victims and families, but also I can't figure out why anyone would have tried to dive on Saturday.  At this point, it seems like going out in bad conditions is a pretty well known bad idea.  No disrespect intended.

Anyhow, that's a bummer.

Been there a couple times, that cove gets really treacherous during crazy swells. Really sad to hear of this.

When you look outside the window, and all you see is fishing. True Story.
