Arrived around 8:30 am and launched right where the American meets the Sacramento.  There were about 15 boats in the line up with lots of guys on the shore.  We paddled over, anchored in about 17 ft. of water, and gave it a shot.  Talked to some boaters and it was real slow, no Salmon caught.  :smt009 Stayed till around 12:30pm and called it a Day.

Next time will drift down from Howe to cover more ground.  Good to be on the water. :smt001

Thanks for the report John.
It looked like a great day to be on the river. Sorry to hear you didn't hook one.

I might try the Howe area this weekend.

The hightlight of the day was going to Hotters for lunch.  Good bits there.  But no hook-ups.

Thanks for the report. Looks like the two of you had fun and what a great day to be out on the water. Will be trying that area this Monday with Kayak James and my partner Phil. How far did you drift?

I was hoping to get ahold of you on your cell phone for a first hand report of all the fish you caught.
It can be some tough fishing with all the boats around. Hope you go again soon and nail 'em.

Nice shots of the river/trip makes up for the non-hook-up reports, IMO. :smt004
Thanks for the word!
