I was checking maps and to me it looks like it was headed south east away, but it is hard to tell how the fire will react. Hope all is well up there Ron.

We are ok. House is safe if fire doesn't come back toward freeway. Power off and Eric staying at the house, we are in Lincoln at my brothers house tonight. Thanks for all the kind words, thoughts going to sleep

Yup, it is moving SE. 1/4 mile from my aunts house and 1.5 miles from my folks' place  I hope they put it out quick.

I drove home from work at donner lake back to folsom this evening.  I instantly thought of you ron.  Hope the fire gets under control.  ATD's fam and your fam will be in my prayers. what ever you need sac crew is here

Hope all is okay

Looters and arsonists should be shot on sight.  When they catch the arsonist, and they will, be sure you get your name to the DA so you are included on restitution and a DA Victim's Advocate assigned to you.  Any loss, including the inability to use your home for even one night, can be recoverable under a court order during sentencing.  It might not be much, or might be a small fortune, but it makes the statement to the criminal; You will not get away with this, and you will be held accountable for every damn cent.  You will also be able to give a statement at sentencing that will influence the court.

My family is all good.  My aunt and uncle were on the evacuation list, but their property was untouched. I drove by applegate on my way home from work, and it looks like the fire is under control.  I'm glad to hear that Ron's house was unscathed. 

Glad to hear your family didn't have any fire damaged. Ron's too!
