What comes 25 years after an Oakland sweep of the Giants?

What an unbelievable win, the Giants definitely got the postseason juju!

I don't have a problem with the bashing, especially from rival teams.....just makes it that much sweeter!

Again, history repeats itself this postseason. Strickland + Machi in leverage situations = TROUBLE. Bruce, I love ya, but KNOCK IT OFF with these two !!!

One of Bochy's strengths is his belief in his players but I don't get this faith in Homer Strickland!

Go Giants!

No doubt. He's managed his bullpen flawlessly since 2010 so its hard to question his choices but Machi's splitter has been flat as can be since Labor Day and his stats show it. And Strickland, what can you say ? Its outhouse or castle with him. If you look though, with the exception of Romos walkoff HR, every bad bullpen inning in the playoffs have involved Machi and Strickland. Leaning on Affeldt and getting Petit involved to chew up innings between the starter and Romo/Lopez/Casilla has got to be the priority moving ahead.

And if the offense had cashed in a few of the countless runners they stranded throughout the night, wed be talking about something completely different. Then again, if my uncle wore a dress he'd by my aunt, so ....
