My wife and I are avid cyclists, both road and mountain bikes. Does anyone else ride? I also have a 250 ninja motorcycle that I ride on occasion. Haven't found anyone to ride with since moving out here and haven't ridden much. Half tempted to sell the motorcycle to have money to finish rigging the yak and buy more gear.

I was an occasional bicycle rider when I worked in Morgan Hill.  Rode a Trek since Specialized was almost across the street from my job.

Sold my superbike after I moved to Florida.  Looking for a little something for my short commute to work.  If you decide you want to sell the Ninja, drop me a PM.

I've been starting to do some bicycle commuting to work myself. 14 miles each way, but beats dealing with downtown Sac traffic.
I keep going back and forth with selling the bike, but I'll let you know first, Bill. I keep thinking it could be money used on a FF and maybe a rudder for my Lure. Lol

Cool!  It would be a big change from my Honda CBR900RR   :smt005  I only commute like 14 miles to work though.

I won't lane share.  Never did when I had a bike & sure won't now.  I'll lane share (staggered) bike-to-bike but not bike-to-vehicle.  Nor will I split the lanes in heavy traffic.

Some of the people that I see splitting at highway speeds are just crazy. We weren't allowed to split in Indiana, but also didn't have a helmet law.

I gave up riding about 5 yrs ago when my first son came along.  No sense taking the extra risk when I have youngsters depending on me.  I have to admit, I loved lane-sharing when the opportunity presented itself ( traffic at a standstill).  I may pick it back up when my boys are old enough to ride themselves, but I'm in no hurry to ride again.

I'm a "certified" Gravity Bike rider! Only Downhill now for me...

I'm all honesty, I should get back on the peddle; need to build up endurance ans stamina again...

Big time cyclist. I have a Cannondale Six One, 15 pound road bike..used to race...now just club rides. Mt. bike is a Felt Carbon Nine team, 2x10 hardtail. About 22 pounds. Always race the Sea Otter. May get a full suspension mt. bike soon.
Cycling helps the kayaking and freediving...and vise versa! I think there are lots of fit cyclist at NCKA, they go hand in hand. Lets ride! Ron

I really need to get another bicycle.
I do how ever ride a Ducati 848 corse.
Just did a run to the bucket of blood saloon on it last Saturday.
Just under 500 miles by myself.
A good portion was in the rain.
Long day and loved every bit of it.

Got the mtb trails in Santana Cruz dialed. Let's go mountainbiking!
2011 Albion Open 1st place
2014 Lowrance Rockfish Classic 1st place
Kayaks are cool!

I've got a no-suspension mountain bike that I put together myself several years ago. It was fairly nice in its day, but now my older son (a serious, full-suspension mountain biker) is embarrassed to be seen with me. Well, I think in general he's embarrassed to be seen with me, but even more so when it comes to biking. But we still do bike fairly often---just this morning we were on one of the trails off of highway 9 near Santa Cruz today.

Once upon a time, I also built up a recumbent bike. My brother has had that one for quite a while now, but this winter I'm going to trade him a kayak for the recumbent. I'm hoping that by riding that regularly, I'll be able to troll even farther with the Hobie next year.
I don't like stuff that sucks.

The bike that I ride most is my touring bike. It's a Novara Safari that I've built as my long distance cruiser. I also have a Novara Squadra carbon road bike that sees some action on the American River bike trail. My mountain bike is a heavy front suspension Giant Revol, that I bought cheap, but still will ride the hell out of.
I'm loving the river trail and all of the mountain bike trails that I've found so far in the foothills. I need to get riding more to get some more pounds off.
