yea we suck though , its facts. i don't think dennis allen was the problem though , he just wasn't the solution at this time. reggie is clueless iMo and i don't see him making it into next season.

heres my wild card thought tho….this is all part of the plan. signing all these old players wasn't so we can build a champion , its all about the younger guys learning from them and the way this team is truly built is through the draft and that takes time. there will always be a few misses along the way , the jurys still out on DJ hayden and Menilick Watson but i think we struck gold this past draft , khalil Mack is a beast and while his stats won't show you sacks yet just watch him closely during the games and the guy is constantly around the ball , he's always double teamed and during the patriot game was held on a bunch of occasions. last week pro football focus has him rated the best outside linebacker in the NFL due to stats other then QB sacks , hes gonna be a star.
 and we may have finally found our Qb of the future in Derek Carr , he's smart , athletic and mature beyond his years , his brother david is a bust but theres still something to learn from him regardless. he alone may be a reason that top coach comes over. match that with the 50 million in cap money we are expected to have again next year + a top 5 pick in the 2015 draft and i really think we can get this thing turned around. i just don't think that should fall to the hands of reggie .

Not that Allen is a genius or anything, but he's been doing his best with glorified NCAA talent and retreads. Its a shame that he took the fall for the dumpster fire that is the Oakland Raiders right now. Hopefully Mack and Carr can make up for the Reggie's shoddy drafts and roster mismanagement.

Really How long has it taken? I hope your not in a rest home waiting for this to happen. It will not happen as long as a Davis owns the team. But you keep buying those Teeshirts for them to throw your money at a loosing team. Sorry if I offend you. Maybe.

It's been a long trip since 2001-2002. Reggie better put in some mad genius offseason n draft work. Firing a coach to save himself for another year or so. 

I'm talking about the time span from when mark Davis hired an actual GM. That was a turning point....The jury's still out. There is some positives within the last few years that the Raiders haven't seen in the last decade. ...obviously not wins but from an organization standpoint. We aren't over paying free agents like Al used to do. We have cap money. We have an actual scouting department.  The things didn't exist for a long time in oakland.
Raider fans are just thirsty for wins and our patience has run out.

And not offended...I'm a true fan who sticks by his team..not like a  a bunch of folks (some on ncka  actually) who joined the niner bandwagon once they became good again. Think buying t shirts is a bad investment for the raiders? Lol wonder what you would think about my season tickets.

Damn i remember watching them on tv as a kid play the Jets in Super Bowl II they were my team growing up in Stockton.

A real dynasty in the 60's 70's still not too bad in the 80's.

But now...

AM680/Tolbert's take the other day was: "who would want to play or coach for the Raiders now - if you had other options?"

I had to agree with him - nobody, sad.

I seem pretty content with these Raiders.  My goodness, how did I get so lucky.

Reggie the GM is lost....did you hear him speak,,,,,,it took him a minute and 30 seconds to say that he fired the coach and hired another.

"well.....ahhhh, well....... ahh, well......ahhhhh we fired our coach, well, ahhhhh"

i could only imagine how these coaching interviews must sound like.

but hey? 3 out of 20 seasons aint so bad.    2020 is gonna be our year,,, i can just feel it!

I am watching New England implode right now, worst I have seen them in BB era.  No O line, Monday nights game was such a blowout, we were exposed just about everywhere possible.  Seems if you play on Monday or Thursday you aredestined for a huge win or a freaking blowout loss like the Vikings took last night.
