If that was the case ....  I'd be on probation for the rest of my life.  Not for cheating .... for sucking at fishing 

Not uncommon... Even here in sac.... Delta tournament with a boat up for the winner... Guys were caught retrieving live (large) fish from an Island hiding spot.... Had been previously caught and stashed... DQ for life and video was taken. With so many cameras around, Stupid to try it, but some still do...

This is the reason the really big tournaments have a "judge" or video camera posted on the boat to prevent this.

This is major for striper and sturgeon derbies.

That's the reason for the hull check at Rockwars.  Some people take these tourneys way to seriously, but hopefully kayakers are better sports.
