I've always been a multi species angler, but being new to the area, it is a large change. I spend a lot of time with my family on lake Natoma, and recently have been trying it out for the fishing. Does anyone have any good tips for fishing the multiple species of fish that are in the lake?

lower lake: senko's in lemon lime or green.
middle lake: live minnows
upper lake/canyon: live minnows for bass and trout or shad rap for trout

Thanks! I might have some shad raps in my bass gear. Not sure if the minnow bucket made the move from Indiana.

I'll be out there this weekend, but not sure on when yet. It's my wife and my anniversary weekend, so will be planning around that.

Just got back from Natoma. Launched a Willow Creek to check out that area. Only fished a few minutes with a small shallow runner, but saw no action. I need electronics to learn the channels and see where fish are holding.

I'm actually headed to Natoma right now. My wife and I bought some used SUPs from Adventure Sports and are headed out to try them out.

Early is better than late for me. I only fished there once though. I go to Folsom 4 days a week .
How does 7 sound?
