Friday the 13th with my luck this could be good.  We ended up with a double plan for child care this Friday so I get to fish on Friday instead of work!  At least for the morning hours.  The water looked so flat this afternoon compared to last weekend.  If anyone can join me, lets pick a place and make it happen.  I could go anywhere even Garapata or possibly south.

I may be able to make it out for a short trip on Friday.  My wife is taking the kids out of town for a week.

It is nice to have mid October vacation.  I am up for anywhere.  If your time is limited maybe CRSB or Coral St?

I'm going to get my stuff together and head down that way 10/13.  Winds should be light, swell might be an issue- from the west.   I'd like to try CRSB (never launched there) if the conditions are right, but Coral St or the $8.75 place would work too.   Let me know where you're headed.

Don't count on me tomorrow.  School has been kicking my butt hard.  I will get out if I can so let me know where you decide to go.  Another drawback is that I am down to one rod right now.  That is unless the absence of a wife to nag me, and children to remind me how poor I am, spurs me into going on a little shopping spree.

Tom,

That sounds great.  Since you have an interest in CRSB, I would be happy to meet you there say 6:30-7.  Do you know where the parking spot is near the steps?  That is usually the shortest carry.  If the launch is too rough we can easily switch to Coral St. or Clint's money pit for the rich.

Nomad,

What about that awsome fly rod you beat me out for?  If you are inspired or just so sick of school that you need a break, it would be great if you could join us.  I have three rods that I use and could easily lend you one if that flyrod is not yet ready for the salt.

CRSB 6:30-7 O.K.   I think I know the spaces you're talking about.    I have some sand wheels if I need to park in the lot.

Cool, its a plan.  See you there bright and early.  I just finished my last quote and e-mailed it off.  Now time to ready the gear and load up the van!

I hope this isn't too late...I have never been there.  Is it easy to find?  I'm 80% on joining tomorrow.
