But he said "nice sized", so she probably can't run very fast or far.  Or you can just try to lure her back with some of your hot wings you're probably snacking on.

:laughing4:  Thanks.  I just spit tea through my nose!

My dad always used to tell me, there's nothing a stripper likes more than your phone number on a one dollar bill.

He didn't like me much, my dad.

Launched this morning at 0645 just before the sun came up. From the weather reports today was suppose to be a beautiful day and boy was it nice. Flippinphil and I started to drift with the outgoing tide and hooked into a few small tigers (released).

Nice catch! I think you were catching leopard sharks, not tigers. Tigers live in warmer water, and are very large. Leopards are very common in the bay and are most likely the sharks you were catching.
May the fish be mighty and the seas be meek...

matter of fact if you caught a tiger you probably would be missing a body part or two.  Again Great catch!!!

beautiful catch.  I'm looking forward to some salmon, but I might just have to get it from the fish counter!

Why not use barbless hooks ALL the time in the bay? I've done this for years now and can honestly say I've lost very few fish because of it. The up side of barbless are obvious not just for the fish that are released, but also for you the angler. Removing a barbless hook from anything is going to be much easier, whether it's your ear or your PDF or any other part of the rigging on your boat. It just makes life simpler.
