What are some good ocean launch spots between Monterey and Fort Bragg when south swells are high (more than 3 ft.)?

Just look for north facing beaches.  Anywhere on the south side of Monterey Bay.  The spots around Ocean Cove should be pretty easy.  The south swell comes from a pretty steep angel so it doesn't get into the coves very well.   Around Fort Bragg Noyo Bay should be protected.

HMB. The inner harbor is always launchable. Now, whether you want to be out there...

You want to be out there, but I'm personally reaching the conclusion an AI is best if you hit HMB regularly.  Would be great to "park" one there permanently.   :smt003

This is where you do not want to be with a south swell. Waves will break inside the cove during the common winter storms with the swell from the south. That is why the dock is removed in the late summer at the pier there.

SW North does not have a dock.  You must mean SW South.

Isn't the one at SWS only in the water during their Jr. sailing season?
