Kelsey Bass Ranch 2014 Oct 3rd weekend

Jon Has given the green light for Nor Cal HOW to hold the Kelsey Bass Ranch Event for 2014,

We are taking over the first weekend of October,  Vets and families will be arriving Friday and camping for 1 to 2 nights, day troopers from the VA & WWP, who knows just yet…

But Save the date…  Primitive camping but Beautiful, no running water, outhouse…

Hey Don was the picture of that big bass the one you lost a few years back???? Gosh I'm so tired of catching bass here in Texas I could spit!!! I've actually started targeting bluegills and crappie at our events just for giggles.

it could have been,, Toad,, all I saw was part of a bronze back,,  might have foul hooked a cat or large carp,  but I think it was a big bass,,,  thought I had a Tuna on,,,,

A few trips ago George Chrisman hooked into a toad we couldn't see but it bent his rod all the way to the but and threw his kayak sideways for about thirty seconds. I estimate it to have went ten pounds. It shook off but dang it was cool to watch.

Hope y'all have fun, me, well I'll stick to my bluegills and crappie. Having more fun than a barrel of monkeys with those right now, especially when the bluegill are big and the crappie are thick and almost two pounds.

Does everything just go Mutant when it comes to Texas?

Just good lake management on these little private waters we get to fish, plus the water doesn't get as cold during the winter months letting these guys have a longer growing season.
Lots of food too, when these fish have little ones they get eaten.

Kelsey in October should be nice.  I will request for time off and get back to you Rob.

Actually I'm a little jealous about all those crappie & bluegill you're catching. Easily my favorite fish!
