HOW EVENT***Assignments for FRI 8/29/14***

Thanks guys.   I'll make a spreadsheet and post next week.   You will not regret giving back at this event.

I don't think we ever regret "giving back" at these events..... It's always a GAIN how good I feel when I drive home  from HOW events.     Don and everyone is da'men(woman)!  .

In others words... My boss (wife) cleared me, if you kind folks would have me!   I'll do any thing really.

Hey Guys, I just got back from the doctor and i am going to have to get surgery to re-attch the bicep tendon to the bone in my elbow on my right arm. The surgery is next wednesday and it takes 10 weeks before i am back to normal. I am still on board for this one but i will need more assistance than usual. I will have to watch and explain how to set up and operate the galley. I will also need someone to come help me pack up and drive my truck(stick shift).

sorry crew, but my co-worker is out on maternity leave and i can not get that friday off.
Not that i know how to catch fish there.

Sorry to hear about the need for surgery and if you need help loading or driving I can help. Between the two of us we will have two good arms.

At least you have a hobie so you can still get out OTW.

I'll be there and will bring my AI and my Slayer Propel.

I will have my daughter with me so I'll be relegated to shore duty.  We can make sure everyone signs waivers, set up rods, etc.

Facebook for SPR says that they're still catching trout and catfish.  What do we want to do?  Do we want to set up bait rods for catfish at all or just stick with bass, trout and trolling gear?

I can load/unload and drive truck or take mine as I would have to drive right past his house anyways. Sounds like there will be help there to unload and take directions from jack. I have never went to one of these and only know how to make tacos in gs8 quantities [emoji2]

I think we can do both, it's been relatively cool out here with fog, so I could see the trout bite still lingering

We'll button down duties as we draw closer the event.
Event starts as soon as EBMUD opens the gates- 6:30 I think.  We set up kitchen with Jack,
get kayaks on the lawn for inspection-- (take a towel to dry it off, in and out) .
Help Don set up banners, get waivers ready, and other prep matters.

We are serving lunch so we need to come up with a menu.

The VA should have all waivers sign before hand, so it's just us and private parties that need to sign waivers…

feel free to get that done in advance too… they are in a "sticky" top of the HOW topics,,,

Again, we all need to sign these, Basically they are the minimum of protection for HOW and probably not worth their weight in gold for that protection, but what that are REALLY GREAT for is when the Man  comes snooping around and wants to ask me questions about what we did on certain date… the biggest thing that supports my reporting is these waivers with signatures… saved our ass already with an event I did not put on…


so please sign a waiver or two,  Adult and Media release…
