Sunday 8/10 around 10ish @ the main ramp to practice self rescue.
I might get there early to troll around for a bit

What a GREAT morning on the water!!  Everybody earned their badge of honor

mm, I didn't make it early enough to do any trolling. I slept in and probably miss the bite especially considering all the boats on the water.

Right on, fellas. Wish I coulda made it out, but had prior Great America obligations.

Everyone did great! The fun part was grabbing the handles and rolling over! I semi outfitted my kayak with a leashed fishing rod, plano box, and a net to give it a somewhat real experience. On one roll over I came up with my head in my net and had to laugh...remember always net the big fish Head First!  .  After quite a few rolls some of us needed to pump out our kayaks. It's amazing how much water a jumbo plano box holds...yup..had to pump that out too.

I was thinking about you guys when I got creamed and flipped by a sneaker wave over a boiler rock yesterday.

Think I would have made you guys proud with how quick I flipped the Cuda back over and hopped back in. 

The guys behind me were like "Did you just get flipped? You got back in too fast...we didn't have time to turn on the GoPro."
