Tail looks intact, gaff job?

The trick to keeping the tail intact is making sure you can’t actually fit it all the way into the net  :smt003
You can see the net in the pictures. It was worn out after the fight and the actual landing wasn’t too difficult.

howzit everyone, it's been awhile since I posted here. Got lucky last weekend.

Didn't measure the ling but came in at 23lbs.

I finally got the 40" salmon monkey off my back.  When I picked up the rod and felt the tug I knew right away "this is the one". 

40.5"  33lbs bled  30lbs gilled and gutted
