Putting together a list of Dark Beers.

I know there's some of us out there that don't care for the IPA's, not that there bad, it's just not my( and or our thing).....

So that being said( or written) I'll start , some may be obvious and some not so .... Like to see what gets put down....

Remember there is no particular order or ranking .....

i just finished an iron springs sless stimulating stout. the coffee porrter was asking where the sless went, so was thinking of sending it down so the sless didnt get lonely

I've liked Red Tail Ale on tap at Islands in Folsom.  Goes great with a burger or fish-n-chips, but best with pizza.

Bear Republic - Red Rocket
Lagunitas - Lucky 13
Green Flash - Hop Head Red
Cottrell - Old Yankee

The really dark stuff ..

North Coast - Old Rasputin
Deschutes - Obsidian Stout
Mad River - Steelhead Scotch Porter
Magic Hat - Heart of Darkness
Samuel Smith - Oatmeal Stout
Anderson Valley - Barney Flats Oatmeal Stout

Modelo Negro for when you are in a Hispanic resturant and want something with a little more flavor than Pacifico or Corona
If you are up in the Northern Half of the US, try good ole Moose Drool (you can find it locally).

Enjoyed a case of Bear Republic, Cloverdale, Big Bear Black Stout towards the end of the last steelheading season.
