you can also park for free all along del monte blvd directly in front of the del monte beach area/ by the grass & on both sides of the road-by the small lake for reference, folks are coming and going all day and spots open up every ten minutes or so imo---or just pay ten bucks and be done with it, park on the wharf right by the beach etc

LOL! Posted at same time as me.

If you have kids, the Dennis the menace park near the little lake is awesome/insane.  Olivia loved it so much that she decided to not be a pain in the *ss.

For those of you that don't have the time to cook and likes Filipino food you can buy a  "FILIPINO LUNCH PLATE" consisting of BBQ Chicken, Pansit, and Lumpia, $10 Donation to benefit a worthy cause: the kitchen improvement project at our Filipino Community Center in Monterey about a block from the PIF site.  Let me know so I can pre-order the amount we need.

If I defrost some sheephead filets is anyone intersted in slicing it up and serving/eating it sashimi style?

I can bring the soy and wasabi I just know that I won't have time to deal with prepping food while I'm getting prizes and stuff ready for raffle, and taking care of Ana and the girls etc...

If not no worries.

Saturday In 10 foot swells , plus rouge swells, I Got my  biggest Cabby since starting kayak fishing, and decided to test out my second ever batch of  fresh fish Ceviche---which I learned about here on NCKA

Everyone makes it different I expect
This stuff has a decent size dose of Cayenne and fresh herbs
Cabby and Rock Fish - most of the veggies and Herbs are from our Garden - more turning ripe for the next batch

good stuff...
going to fish  for some more fresh fillets this coming Friday and make a fresh batch for the potluck
with all the fixins too
We are what we pretend to be, so we must be careful about what we pretend to be.

I want to stay as close to the edge as I can without going over. Out on the edge you see all kinds of things you can't see from the center.

People aren’t supposed to look back. I’m certainly not going to do it anymore.”

Just want to bump this.  Not sure if we are going to have enough food. I can get a tray of pansit noodles for $40/tray.  I'll pitch in $20.  Anyone else?

A tray should feed 10 people.
