Contact your county tax assessor's office and tell them you need to change the value you are currently being taxed on. This will save you some money until you actually move back into your replaced home. 

Later, when you are going through the process of getting permits for the reconstruction, I'll let you know about how Prop 13 will work on grandfathering you back in on the new house based on the assessment of the old house.  Also I can educate you on permit fees; what you shouldn't be charged for and what you won't be able to avoid.

It's absolutely unreal that you "got arrested" and are being investigated for arson…

  you know what BS that is,  basically to get a conviction for arson,  ya basically need to have HARD evidence with a confession,,,

  someone is really being a dickhead going after you…

Hang tough buddy and I'll check in with my Lawyer-in-law asap about arson BS,  he does have extensive experience with firefighters and arson,  not that I needed it, but he has had some high profile cases...

I'm still not exactly sober and haven't really slept.

I shou be clear of it. They pulled video footage of me at Starbucks when it happened. But for ducks sake kick me while in down and accuse me.

When the smoke settles(haha?) I will hopefully handle this methodically and maybe take one of you up on getting out to decompress. Brand new hobie gone. The worst part is I had a god damned cold beer in that fridge.

And as far as her name I could give a flying fuck what happens. I quit. I am not cut out for this. At least not right now. Respect I danglin and any other ire fighter out there. I can't imagine if this was children. I watched my helmet cam of trying to save the dogs and Lost it. Grown man losing it. Over dogs and puppy bawling like a woman.

I been a grown man for years and still cry over a pets death. They are part of the family, don't feel bad about that. I'll replace your beer at Albion if you wish what kind was it.
