i too have a ride 135. its a super stable boat and at times after a long day on the water yes it is a barge to paddle. i like my yak but to mount my fish finder i did have to use a scupper mount. i would try the malibu xfactor as it has easy mounting options for fishfinder and tankwell. my ride has the low seat and the rudder on it. works well when theres strong winds helps to keep me going straight.

Why the scupper mount? Mine is just fine in the hull.

The Ride works fine in the ocean. My buddy uses it when he visits up here. He weighs a good 250+ and has no issues at all. It is heavy, but so are all the other "big" boats. One thing about weight, you know there is plenty of plastic in it and it is not thin and flexible like some boats are.

Lots of guys with rides and not a single person chimed in about the OKBG...I wonder why......?? I guess its fairly new, but still..someone out there ought to have one by now. I am guessing that if the ride is a barge to paddle, that the FnD and OKBG are like oil tankers? SHeesh
Oh and thanks for all the replies.

Hmm I have heard that the Malibu boats are too flexy and the plastic is thin. True they have nice features...

I had X-Factor and did not notice that plastic is  thin.

The OKBG2 is almost identical to the Predator 13 in design. Just look at their websites. The websites are identical too haha.

The Predator 13 is pretty awesome. Not tippy at all.

The only complaint I have about it is that it's a beast to load/unload if you go the roof topping route.
Thresher in avatar and Soupfin Shark in signature both caught and pic taken by me.
