introduction

hello everyone my name is mike, I am 27 and have been living on the coast in pacifica and pescadero.  growing up as an angler fishing all bodies of water I have never owned a kayak.  with my tax return this year I finally bought one, a 13' triumph.  I have launched out of the surf about 8 times so far and have landed 3 lingcod and a few other rockfish.  I don't have a lot of experience navigating the ocean but I know I can learn a lot being a member of this website.  I would love to catch at least a halibut and a salmon this year, I bought a couple of collapsible crab pots and have lost one already.  I have a lot to learn and would be interested in hooking up with a fishing buddy if anyone is interested.  thanks again and happy fishing!!!
