I can see the smoke from my house out near Tomales!!  I noticed it today at lunch.  Prayers out to the people in the area as well as those fighting it!  Hopefully it gets under control soon!

Amazing how fast it went from just a little puff to a massive cloud billowing up over the hills east of here. I used to monitor vineyards in that area for a winery that I worked for at the time and that's some rugged, hot terrain that's brutally dry this time of year (and worse than normal this year). Sending thoughts to all of the residents and firefighters in that area.

I don't believe that!  I'd offer to join you but I pulled a bonehead stunt at Albion last Saturday.  Thought I'd beached my AI (with the rudder still down) while I helped another with his Mirage drive.  Snagged my drysuit with a treble hook.  While we spent time unhooking my ass, the surf turned my AI sideways and, with the rudder braced by the sand, snapped the Twist and Stow rudder mount.  Working this week to pay for my stupidity by repairing the damage.

Sounds like someone else has inherited my luck haha. Well whenever you are back to normal I have this nice little private launch ramp on the delta. Even have an extra outback, although old, if you wanted to get out in the mean time.
