Close enough that I need to plan for the framework to hold it, wiring, etc...  I need to post some pictures of the 'Toy Box' on here.  I like the name too..... :smt007

I know absolutely nothing about generators other than my local Costco sometimes carries them.  Don't even know if it's a fair price.

Sorry for being no help whatsoever.

I'll check out Costco & see if they carry Honda.  Thanks!

Andy ... that would be awesome.  I don't mine one that is slightly/gently used.

Just checked with Costco ... they have a 2000i model that has a Yamaha motor setup @ $600 new & a few dB lower noise.  Tempting!  Holding out for a Honda though!

If you ever want to go to a 4000 watt. get the EU2000I I bought the combo package that has two generators that can be hooked together or used separately. If you buy 1/2 of the combo package. then all you need is the other one and the cable to use 4000 watts in the future. It is much better than one 4000 watt as I can lift them by my self. And they will run my 15000btu A/C unit.
Check these guys out fast shipping and they have all the other popular units.

I have a 5000watt for home emergency use already .... not a Honda though .... heavy & loud but it does what it needs to do in case of an emergency.  I like the compactness of the 1000i for my little camper but may consider the 2000i since the loudness & fuel consumption is about the same.  I do like the fact that the 200i can be linked together to form a 4000 if needed.

I might just break down for the $800 & get the 1000i NEW rather than used.  Figured I'd give it a week or two to look for used then break the bank & go new.

don't forget yamaha... i picked up a used 2400iSHC, which even came with tri-fuel (runs on propane, natural gas, unleaded) for $900.  i can run my AC with this unit.  i don't think a single eu2000 can do that.

forgot to mention... watch out for knock offs on CL.  from the outside they look like genuine honda, but internals are not!  ask to see purchase receipts!
