Anyone here ever fished Fountaingrove Lake up in Santa Rosa?  I have to run up to Harbor Freight this afternoon when I'm done at work and was considering taking the Pro Angler up there to check it out.  From the images on Google Maps it looks like frogging and flipping will be the ticket and those happen to be my two favorite techniques!

It doesn't look like you have to pay to park and I can't find any info on paying to launch a boat.  The only info I can find says that non-motorized vessels are allowed, and there is an old report from 2000 that says the bass bite was hot.  Hopefully there are still a few fish in there!

Used to fish it out of a float tube in the mid 90's before it became a county park. Bass fishing on the techniques you described was pretty good then. Most of the fish are 1 to 2 pounds. Definitely not as big of fish than nearby spring lake. It can still be a lot of fun though and usually not as crowded. Good luck!

launch is free, senko and frogs work great there around the tules. There might be catfish I've yet to catch one. Great Place to take the kids and have them throw some bobbers by the small boat launch.

When you look outside the window, and all you see is fishing. True Story.
