Any big guys out there paddle a trident 13? I'm 6 foot 3 265 and I was wondering how fast and dry of a ride this would be for me?

I'd love to hear a response to this as well. I'm the same height but, atleast for the time being, have a few more lbs. tagging along. I currently have an OK Prowler Big Game for the stability and room but would like to upgrade to a kayak with a little more stability/speed balance.

I paddled T13, Ride 135 and ultra 4.3

T13 is definitely my favorite. Very stable, tracks well on the water, the rodpod is definitely a plus surf launching and landing. 170lbs 5'7" dry and comfy.

6ft 250+lb here, boat is wide and stable, yet paddles well. Butt sits low and a little wet ,no problem there as long as you stretch your legs and are catching fish. It certainly draws less with a smaller paddler. I think that the OK style has put the paddler close to the water for a long time. Tracks fair and glides well enough also, it is small enough to muscle around. My Trident turns surprisingly well. I added the rudder and I'm glad I did. The Trident is versatile and I like it better the more I use it. The tracking and glide would be better on a 15 but then it wouldn't do so many thing well. Initially I did feel a little heavy for the T13 but now it's no problem. It also behaves differently on wave than longer  kayaks, but big guys don't get scared or seasick.  :smt003 I like it around kelp and rocks a lot. Size is good for launching and landing

5 ft 11 at 240 and love it.
Mainly use out of HMB.
I was worried the first time going up and over a 5 ft swell but was great.
Super stable and easy to mount Humminbird Fish finder to because the thru hull transducer fits great
Go for it

my son is 160# and sits dry in the t13.  I am 270 and sit wet in the t-13.  Great boat, but I prefer my t15.
