straight out from the harbor moved south over sandyland... still cant find the seabass!! Weather: wind and swell was up a little earlier but stopped around 8ish.

Ah the happy halibut hunting grounds!  Straight out is soth, so you were moving East I guess.  My hangout for sure!

And, the wsb are down near Capitola, but they have been known t appear exactly in the area you describe.
