Congrats Uruguay, you've advanced to the round of 16!!!  Now you'll be playing the rest of the tournament without your cannibal.
Haven't read anything about Hannibal being excluded...yet.

You're right Howard.  I was stating what I believe to be the obvious.  If FIFA does NOT suspend him, they will have severely screwed up.

USA was impressive in heart. Belgium has better talent overall. Wondo's missed kick at the end of regulation would have been a game winner but then the better team would have lost.
Good game.

Admittedly, I know very little about soccer and I've never watched an entire soccer game start to finish in my life ... until TODAY ! I was absolutely riveted to Tim Howard's performance and even as a non-soccer fan, I could still really appreciate his incredible level of play today. Likewise, the excitement of the US offense coming to life during extra play had that same edge-of-your-seat excitement of an NFL playoff game. A very cool and very unexpected experience !

Anyways, just some observations from a non-socccer fan.

Howard wasn't even the best keeper of the WC.  Memo was absolutely incredible.

^ Really?  How many other countries have we played in the Super Bowl.

I hate the overreacting dives also but every sport has their flaws.
