The structural issue is a non-issue in my book.  My Sport had the failure in the drive hole which was easily fixed with epoxy and fiberglass cloth.  That failure was two years ago, repair still holding as of yesterday's peddle on the Sac.

I beleive CCK in rancho has some 2013 Revo 13's for 1600 new. Sometimes its worth it to go new.

I've been looking for a Revo 13, but I have never seen a price of $1600 new.  I have heard 10% off is possible, but tell me more about this 1600 new thing, are they just last years model or something?  Any big difference between '14s and '13s model years.  I have been watching craigslist but it is ridiculous, I saw some guy selling one for $2k the other day, the only extra being some turbo fins.

My friend has a 2006 Hobie Outback "Hank Parker" if you're interested.  Its missing the mirage drive but it has everything else plus some extras for $800.

That Redding listing shows 10' for length.  Maybe a Mirage Sport?
