never used, perfect shape.

$100 obo.

Great seat, but I already own the GTS Elite so I don't need it.   I won it in the Mendo raffle.

It has plastic buckles on the rear or brass clips?
Saltwater is the cure for everything that ails us,

FYI- "plastic buckle" seats were an OK thing, which has been discontinued by OK and all seat Mfgs.

Mbasser, I have an outfitter that I paddled at Lex. with you a month or two ago. Will this seat fit that yak? The stock seat is okay but on long days fishing it gets uncomfortable. My dilema is that the stock seat has guide plugs built into it that fit into two different positions, forward and rear. Being new to this and not having the knowledge on anyother product will this seat work in my tandem? Thanks in advance Frank

What kayak do you have?

It should fit most any kayak.

It has copious butt padding

I'm pretty sure it will work, but let me confirm it.

Hobie seats are threaded at the seat hinge where the butt part meets the back part.  Two screws in the seat hinge screw into receiving plubs which are anchored in holes in the molded seat area.

Although this GTS seat would undoubtedly "fit" in size and dimension, I'm not sure it is a good match with the mirage seats.

I've peddled my outback without anchoring the seat bolts.  Not very fun because you really have to rely on sturdy back pressure from the seat back to effectively work the mirage drive.

I am taking the seat to the local hobie dealer tomorrow morning.

If it fits the outfitter, it goes to Frank.  If not it is still up for grabs.
