No idea what to do or where to go. I have a rod and reel with 80# braid. Would love it if someone could go out and show me the ropes. I can pick up whatever tackle is needed. This is provided they are still running.

This weekends tides are going to make Hali fishing really tough. Generally A 3 foot swing or less is ideal. I believe it is a 7 foot swing or something crazy like that this weekend. they can be caught on those big swings but trust me navigating the waters will be no fun andThe odds won't Be great either. Hali are sight predators so those small swings are usually ideal. Your best bet with Hali is two hours before slack tide and two hours after. drop offs or shelfs are worth fishing. Where sand meets rock, sand filled craters in rock. If structure is scarce fish anything u find hard.

Good luck next weekend! Any idea where u want to go? Alameda rockwall is nice and has been producing. Paradise park in tiburon can be productive and is a little more protected. Where ever you go good luck
