thanks I just got off the phone with a campground person 805-927-2035---she just had current water restrictions and camping rules-had not heard of our event
she also said  to call @ 1-800-444-7275 ............ca. parks reservation  line

called the 800 and found out

spots are still available

dogs on leash only ,but ok,at both san simion and washburn ( which one are you guys ?) and never allowed on beach ,must sleep inside with owners not outside...no water no dump stations or showers, outhouses on site...20 bucks or so a night...lots of spots open as of today

edit: and dogs must be attended at all times -so not leaving her  to take snooze in the van while we kayak -which would be just fine with my beagle,is gonna be tricky...get ticket stuff

Washburn is normally the primitive sites on top of the hill but due to the stage 3 drought the whole camp ground is. We will be in the San simeon park. They arent aware because our event is taking part outside of the camp ground. We just recommend camping there because its only like 2miles from the launch site.

the gal on the phone thinks it is 8 people to a campsite so If/when I get a site I'll let folks know if we have room still...
like wise  if folks from nor cal have/get sites/maybe post it and we can split or bring supplies for the campsite....

All registered for my very first tournament. It is pretty safe to consider me "dead money".

I am going to need a minimum of 10 hours of sleep friday night to be at my best...can you guys keep it down to a low roar at the campground?  :smt001
1st Place in a private tournament I did not invite anyone else to be in. (and I barely squeaked out a victory)

Sorry about the absence been a busy summer and an even busier August have not seen my home since July been visiting the Northern part of the state on a road trip putting out fires. Just got back down south and hoping to get off work by the next week at some point and put some more time into it and get all other final details worked out and finished.

Regardless thanks to Derrick for grabbing the bull by the horns on this one.

See you all there...

Tight Lines,
Ryan
