I grew up in MD, i fished and waded Violets Lock hundreds of times, love that place. From what Ive heard and read, Snakeheads dont kill off all other species but find their own niche. Whatever, still invasive but just not the doom and gloom they were made to be? Def not as F'ed up as the flying carp of middle America, thats messed up...
Personally I cant wait to nail a Snakehead on the Potomac, kind of like a sweetwater ling.
BTW, where was that?

I lived over in Easton for 20 years before moving to bay area.

Not sure where he got that one, usually on Mattawoman or Potomac. Check this video, 40", Mattawomen creek

Definitely, good eating, grill with fermented fish.  I used to fish for them in PI for a living, Gill nets get torn apart. I use 50-100 hook and line with live fresh water frogs on a flooded rice field. start 4 PM and comeback 4AM...I missed that shit.
Live today for tomorrow's sake.
