wTB: HEPA Filter

Anybody got the hookup?

Gonna to need a strong HEPA Filter unit for my grand-baby's room when she gets out of the hospital; she will be on home isolation for at least 6 months.... And needs to minimize exposure to airborne particles that may oar a risk....

Any help is greatly appreciated.

My neighbor is a heating and air conditioner guy. They sell them ask your local guy. But better than that. Check with a local hospital and medical supply place. Some insurances may cover such things. Better if they specialize in pulmonary issues. I would not trust just the run of the mill HEPA filter. If she has a social worker through the hospital they are a good source to lean on. If you want I can call my transplant coordinator where to start. But Stanford is closer to you and they do Organ transplants. and may know a local source for you. Did her doctor say you need one at home? I know she has a problem right now. but when I was sent home with my transplant I did not need one. She just may need a portable unit that just removes dust and some germs. It will be scary for you at first. But they will not send her home with out some immune protection. Just keep sick people away. I'm 18 years Immunosuppressed. It gets better, ask those that met me at the lowrance school tonight. I don't think they could tell I was Immunosuppressed or had transplants. PM me any time you want. I think that is why I'm still here to help people through these things that are similar to what I been through. Especially people with young kids.

It will qualify for insurance too. I have seen prescriptions filled and insurance pay for it.
