If you would like to try a predator-13, I'm avail this Monday or any other Sun/Mon after GS. I will take you up the SJ to demo for the day. You should be able to get a good feel for the yak and probably catch a PB Bass.
Let me know if your imtrested ;0)

Ryan do you usually load the kayak sitting upright or upside down on your Tahoe?  I have an inno kayak lifter that might help you, I could sell it pretty cheap.  If it doesn't work for you, you can just give it back to me, so no risk to you.

I have a Predator since December, and so far I only used it in Santa Cruz Bay and HMB, and I do not have any other kayak experience to compare with. I did manage to flip the yak  once in HMB, and even though I can think of various of things I did not do right (e.g., sitting in high position, leaned somewhat on one side, trying to avoid a crab craw, and the swell push the boat at a bad angle...), the flipping happened as a surprise without any sign before hand. I even posted a short video in one of the report thread. It surely was a struggle to load it onto my tall SUV, but with some practice and some ugly scratches on my SUV, I finally get the hang of it and feel more comfortable loading/unloading it myself now. Do not practice it on an expensive car.
