Had this on my backup rod, but switched to a spinning reel. Works great. Has some tarnish/light pitting of the chrome but just cosmetic. The reel is smooth as butter.

$20. can be picked up in Scotts Valley (next door to Santa Cruz.) or can do the paypal/shipping if you're not close by. usps is about $7.
