Has anyone kayaked fish from here? Went to check out the dock today and its $13 to launch no matter what it is. Even float tubes need to pay that. Seems pricy but if the fishing is good.

i usually go fishing there with my uncles PB and to get to some nice LMB spots you need a boat. You can always try trolling the channel or if the dam is up you can always drift some live minnows or bluegills for stripers that get stacked up there.

It depends on the time of year.monster stripers come through there.swimbaits and a rigs.also good lmb and cats are also caught there.but it all depends on the time of year.I know when they put the dam up people catch alot of stripers. But its been awhile since ive been there
My biggest worry is that my wife(when I'm dead)will sell my fishing gear for what I said I paid for it

If you're willing to park your car on the levee (be careful or breakins), there's a spot about a half mile down the road with a hill that you could carry down.

$13 to not get my truck broken into seems like a deal!
