My MacBook Pro laptop operating system is Snow Leopard. I just got a pop-up from Apple offering Mavericks (skipping Lion and Mountain Lion) for free. For anyone has a laptop that still has an internal DVD burner and has Mavericks installed, I have few questions.

1. Can you still burn DVDs?

2. Is iDVD program still included?

3. Is iMovie still included?

The latest laptops don't feature a burner, thus the smaller footprint. So, I don't want to end up with a useless burner by upgrading to an operating system tailored for the newer, smaller machines.
