Got my first opportunity to have the babies sleep over and couldnt pass it up!

Had lunch with them at Nola's in Palo Alto; great place! Then over to Scoops right up the street for some ice cream; then spoiled her rotten visiting the local shops! Never knew how expensive nail polish is till today; kids got expensive taste, wonder where she got that from...

Then headed back home for some quality time... and since we couldnt go camping, i brought the camping to them! Gave me an opportunity to open up the hunting blind; things kinda cool; well it was, until the babies moved there bedroom stuff in it...

Its so great to see her up and around; she even got to play with Gizmo for the first time in almost a year... But had to give him a good scrub down and bath first...

Highlight og the day, got another paint from her! Wahoo!!!!

So awesome!

Great to see everyone including Gizmo so happy!!!

Final Chapter:

Last month, the one year anniversary of Mailyna's bone marrow transplant; we had a mini Happy Re-Birthday for her! She is now in full remission and leading a very active life again; including going to school dances, Tahitian dance and going for her Black Belt in Eskrima.  Yesterday, she just got her next belt!!!!

Also yesterday, our family received great news! We actually found out who the donor was that healed my precious grand-daughter! And we are in the process of making arrangements to fly her (and her husband) out here to meet in person; she lives in Rhode Island. 

Until then, that actually "Facetime" each other yesterday and saw/talked each other for first time. My daughter told me it was one of the most emotion times in her life.

Finally: please, if you are an eligible candidate, please take time to become a bone marrow donor; all it takes is a cheek swab test! Maybe I can have them come out to Albion this year...
