I'm going to be going out of bodega bay and want a good kayak for that. Salmon, halibut, rock cod, lings, etc. :smt001

Hobie Revo 13. The 11 is too small.
The Adv is a bit tippy if you aren't used to it but it does track better.
I have both and am up in the air about which one to bring to GS8.
The Revo is more stable for sure and turns better.
The outback is a bit of a slug.
I'll take the little extra speed as I prefer to get moving through rough water.

I'm more than happy with my Outback in rough or calm water. No, it isn't the fastest or most nimble kayak in the world, but it's plenty fast and plenty stable.

A solid fishing machine.
