Is this a heaviest fish or heaviest bag tourney?  What species are being accepted?

Traildad has 3 for a group camp reservation, I would make 4.

I really want to do this tournament and it would be my first but I can't see myself leaving the house at 1:30 AM to be on the beach and ready to launch by 5AM. 

Anyone else want to join in and get a reservation to camp?  PM Traildad, make it happen.

Really just ling cod?  What does more time to travel mean?  Didn't get that one

Paddle farther, more places to fish since you're only after one.

When I was up there for the safety seminar I asked about making reservations. She said she will take reservations for groups of ten or more people. I thought if ten people wanted to camp we could be sure of getting an actual spot in the campground no matter how late we arrive. I got there late before and had to camp in "overflow" which amounted to camping on the side of the road with access to the campground. I had a tent cot so it worked, but having a real spot reserved would be even better. I don't know how many spots they have, but I bet it isn't many more than ten. It seemed they were willing to let everyone camp that wanted to camp. I just don't know how it would have worked for someone that needed more room to lay out a tent. They had squeezed tents in all over the place that weekend for an AA group. If we can't come up with ten people, it will be show up and take what you can get, with the advantage going to the guys that can arrive Thursday or Friday morning.

I may be able to show up and help out if you are in need of volunteers, but can't commit quite yet. I'll know a little more about my schedule later this week.

Oh I'm bringing my yak! I just can't commit to the tournament, I really wish I could.

Are we going to have a potluck? We didn't have that much food last year.

So we are simply not eating? Molly and I will be at OC Friday night.
